A program in the Bronx is working to educate people and help them gain a GED for free.
The Future Now program at Bronx Community College is funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development, and has helped nearly 7,000 residents get their GEDs over the past 20 years.
Former student Hipolito Rosario is now teaching at the program and is responsible for hundreds of students.
Student Christine Vega says she's been to other GED programs, but that there's something about this one that feels different.
Enrollment for the program is ongoing.
