The Van Nest neighborhood alliance met with developers for the sixth time to discuss a condo proposal.
Construction of the planned 47 unit building at 500-508 Van Nest Avenue hasn't begun yet, that's because neighbors say the building will bring too many people into a neighborhood already plagued with no available parking.
Those in favor of the proposal argued that the development would be better than a homeless shelter or other alternatives.
The developers already scaled back their original plans for an 85-story tall building to just 65.
In the meantime, the board and developers will continue to meet so they can settle differences.
Ground is not expected to be broken on the development until 2018.
