The old Bronx courthouse in Melrose is back on the market after being vacant for five decades.

The building is located near the intersection of 3rd and Brook avenues. In the years that it has been closed, it was expanded from four floors to eight floors.

“There's two staircases. There's two working elevators. And then for the most part, it’s a big open layout. They did all brand-new mechanical, all brand new electric, all brand-new plumbing is a brand new generator,” said listing agent Harry Bouzaglou.

The building is now for sale for $35 million.
