Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark announced Friday a man was sentenced 5 to 10 years in prison for suffocating his 7-week-old son back in 2020 after the baby would not stop crying.
On Jan. 29, 2020, police took Teshawn Watkins into custody after prosecutors said he became irate and placed pillows over 7-week-old Kaseem Watkins to "quiet" him.
Teshawn then went to sleep.
Clark added that the 31-year-old is also serving time for hitting the child's mother during her pregnancy.
