A family in the Bronx is pleading for the community’s help with finding their mother, Elena De La Cruz, who has been missing for over a month.
The family says they are sticking together in hopes of finding the 62-year-old woman.
Police say De La Cruz was last seen leaving her apartment at 1616 Grand Ave. on July 9 at around 11 p.m.
Her daughters tell News 12 it’s not like their mom to just run off.
De La Cruz is described as 5 feet 3 inches, weighs 110 pounds and is of Puerto Rican descent.
The family says she speaks Spanish better than English and has difficulty hearing. The only lead her daughters say they have is that their mother said that she was seeing a new man.
