Bronx Health REACH teamed up with Walgreens Tuesday to offer free flu vaccinations at the Church of God and Prophecy.

“By coming here today, and launching this campaign, it is a reminder of the importance of the flu vaccination for all residents across the Bronx, and so I'm grateful as the council member of this district to work with all of our community partners because it is so important that you get your flu shot. It is free of charge. And we also want to encourage you to share this with your neighbors,” said Councilmember Vanessa Gibson.

Organizers say they can’t stress enough the importance of getting vaccinated during this time.
