Tuberculosis (TB) screenings are planned for students and faculty of the Bronx High School of Science after a teacher tested positive.
City health officials say it takes up to 12 weeks after exposure to TB for the skin test to give an accurate result. The teacher is currently undergoing treatment.
The screening is scheduled for May 15.
