A Bronx homeowner is getting life-changing modifications to his apartment, thanks to Rebuilding Together NYC.
Harry Nadeau, who is partially paralyzed, says simple tasks at home can be a challenge. But a monthlong renovation is making his space more accessible.
The upgrades include a walk-in bathtub, voice-activated lights and a redesigned closet for easier access.
“Being home and seeing the changes that are starting to happen in the apartment are really grand,” Nadeau says.
Rebuilding Together NYC provides free critical home repairs for qualifying homeowners. Bronx residents in select ZIP codes may be eligible for assistance.
