Kids in the Bronx headed out to Crotona Park to take part in the activities to celebrate the massive snowfall.
The blizzard brought a record amount of snow to the area and many children took advantage of it. Kids and their parents spent the day sledding and building snowmen, among other activities. Many say the day was complete with an MC playing popular music. When children got cold, they could even enjoy a mug of hot chocolate.
All of the activities were sponsored by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. The parks department also provided the sleds.
