A Bronx man was arrested in connection to a fatal January shooting in Brooklyn, according to police.
Officers found 45-year-old Red Hook resident Ahmad Perkins shot in the head on Jan. 31 in front of 568 Empire Blvd. Perkins was declared dead at the scene.
The NYPD announced this weekend that they arrested 18-year-old Kendu Skeen, from the Wakefield section, in connection to the incident.
Skeen was arraigned Friday night and faces multiple felony charges, including murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Officials say Skeen was previously arrested as a juvenile on charges of menacing and assault involving a robbery.
According to records, Skeen is due back in Kings County Criminal Court Wednesday morning.
