A Bronx man was sentenced Thursday for shoving an elderly man to his death in 2014.
Kevin Darren was sentenced to 18 years in prison for shoving 61-year-old Wai Kuen Kwok, a father of two, onto a D train platform near 167th Street in November 2014.
Officials say the fatal attack was unprovoked because Darren said nothing to the victim before pushing him. They say Darren has a long criminal history and took a plea deal of a lesser charge of manslaughter.
