A 27-year-old man from the Bronx lost his life in Westchester when a tree fell on his vehicle while he was inside.

The incident occurred on Walgrove Avenue in Dobbs Ferry around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered the body of Danilo Gomez inside his car.

In the aftermath of the accident, the roadway was closed to facilitate a thorough accident reconstruction investigation conducted by law enforcement.

It has been confirmed that no other passengers were present in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
