A Bronx man is getting the chance to show off his Lego skills on the show "Lego Masters."
Jermaine Gardner has been playing with Legos his entire life. That childhood joy turned into a lifelong passion.
The 37-year-old cellphone technician from Parkchester has built his life around the popular toy and credits Lego with keeping him out of trouble as a kid.
Now Gardner is looking to stand out as a contestant on FOX's new reality competition show "Lego Masters."
Gardner and his teammate Mel Brown have to work together through a series of Lego challenges -- all for the chance to win $100,000. They knew each other before the show, but never built together.
"My personal goal is to be able to inspire people of all ages to not be afraid to express themselves through any medium, not just Lego," said Gardner.
