Bronx music teacher wins Music Education Award at Grammys

A public school music teacher from the Bronx won the Music Education Award at the Grammys.
Melissa Salguero, who works at P.S. 48 Joseph R. Drake Elementary School in Hunts Point, took home the award for 2018 Music Educator.
Late night host and Grammys host James Corden commended Salguero for making "a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music."
Salguero also took home a $10,000 award for making music at the school.
Bronx rap artist Cardi B. and Bruno Mars performed their hit "Finesse".
She was nominated for two Grammy awards but walked away empty handed.
