More and more New Yorkers are moving out of Manhattan, and one Bronx neighborhood is predicted to take over as number one in New York City.
Real Estate website StreetEasy released on Wednesday that it is predicting Kingsbridge to be the hottest neighborhood in NYC in 2017.
The list compiled by the website takes into account affordability, population growth and highest return on investments.
People in the neighborhood say what really puts Kingsbridge over the top is Broadway Plaza, which has attracted many top retailers and restaurants to the area.
"You get more for your money, it's quiet, there's parking, big spacious apartments and it doesn't break the bank," says Vice President of Atlantic Development Group Joshua Young. "It's a small town feel, but very close to the city."
