Two local artists from the Bronx gave a helping hand on Wednesday to those less fortunate with Thanksgiving approaching next week. 

Ice Spice and Lil TJay took part in a meal giveaway at Fordham University.

Really good tips there, Shay, thank you. Yeah, especially as we have this bitter blast. We have storm Watch team, meteorologist Scott Skoff here and I mean, that could happen because it's just so cold. Yeah, so definitely use those tips. Bundle up half the jacket, the gloves, the scars, whatever keeps you nice, warm and toasty. We don't want any Elsas coming out across the boroughs as we're looking at these temperatures going to be into the thirties, but we'll feel like the twenties teens at night going to be seeing the coldest air of the season coming this evening into the morning tomorrow. So definitely bundle up because it's going to feel like the twenties teens after sunset. It is just going to be very lot really, really chilly out there and the clear skies, the wind not helping with that 34 right now, those clear skies only going to be up to around 38 degrees that gusty wind will biting and brisk and blustery, whatever B word you want to use. It's just going to be downright cold out across the region because we're seeing all of this chill coming in from Canada Lake effect. Snow bands. This even could bring a few festive flakes to us here in the city as we are looking at mainly clear skies. Now, here in our borough just looking at mainly clear conditions, but that could change into the afternoon. A few clouds will roll in from that moisture and we are going to be seeing yes, a chance of a couple of flakes towards the afternoon. I'm thinking mainly between 12 and five o'clock is when we're going to be seeing that band come on in. So it is going to be cold. It's a bundle up, especially when you're walking the dog in Prospect Park. We are going to see those temperatures dip though twenties to start tomorrow morning will feel even colder than that. But today highs will be the upper thirties, cold windy with that possible flurry, but gusts up to 30 MPH will make it a lot colder into the twenties. So definitely bundle up will feel like the teens in the morning tomorrow as we're going to see those overnight lows in the upper twenties to around 30 degrees and then going to be seeing those feels like conditions gonna feel like around 31 by the afternoon tomorrow, just real cold, but things are going to be changing. We're looking at rain chances Friday and Sunday with temperatures in the fifties come the weekend. That is a look at your hyper local forecast.

Check on this weather. I mean, the cold, the first cold snap of the season. Oh, Scott, it's rough out there. Yeah, I'm going to need a bigger jacket when I get there because we are going to be seeing these temperatures not just for today but into tomorrow as well. Mainly in the mornings but all day long, it's going to be brisk. It's going to be breezy. But come Friday, we are going to be going back to that spring tease of temperature is going to be back in the forties and fifties. But this morning it will feel like the twenties throughout the burrows and then that's the way it's going to be into the afternoon. And then same story as we head into the evening hours, we'll even be dropping to feel like the teens across the city. So bundle up jacket, gloves, hand warmers, moisturize hydrate as well. Very important as we're seeing these clear skies. But as we go into the day today, gusty winds, more sunshine going to be beautiful, but make sure to bundle up because it's going to feel like the teens and twenties all day long because of this. All this cold air pushing through but look flurries. Yes, that's white on there. A couple of bits of the white stuff are possible to move on into the city as we go into the day today. So all in, all looking pretty good as we go into the afternoon. But still bundle up temperatures going to be in the thirties, maybe a straight flurry or two from lunch time into the afternoon and evening. So, yeah, definitely a chance for some of that snow as temperatures are be dropping into the twenties, but it will feel much colder into Wednesday tomorrow. So upper thirties to around 40 today, but feel like the twenties because of that cold, the wind and even the possibility of snow, overnight temperatures are going to drop into the twenties, mostly clear but feels like the teens and this cold will be lasting as we head into the day tomorrow. 40 degrees. The high will still feel like the twenties on Wednesday because of a brisk breezy wind. 49 Thursday, 47 Friday with the chance of a few showers late in the day and then more chance of forties and fifties as we go into the month of December. Bronx rappers Ice Spice, Lil TJay take part in Thanksgiving meal giveaway

This was a huge crowd tonight in Fordham as two well known Bronx based rappers came to the borough to give back for a thanksgiving meal giveaway news Twelve's Faith Graham out there tonight. She joins us now from Valentine avenue and Faith as we can see here. A pretty big turnout. Well kurt, it was a pretty busy night here. I don't think anybody could have anticipated just how many people would show up to this Turkey giveaway. We saw around 100 and 50 people crowding on the street corner. Whether they needed the turkey or not, just waiting for the two rappers to arrive and well, you can just imagine how excited they got when that moment finally happened. This is the moment Little TJ and I spice arrived, their fans more than excited after anxiously waiting for hours on end. Both rappers are from the Bronx with ice spice recently gaining popularity from her hit single munch. Feeling you Now, while some were here for the rapper's others were here for a helping hand with their thanksgiving meals. The line extended down the block, but in the end they tell us it was worth the wait beyond grateful to live in a community where they're handing out turkeys and really supporting everybody, especially during the holidays. We just came out of a pandemic. So beyond blessed, very important event to help people who might not be able to afford things like this or you know, just to help have more food at home. So I think it's great for the community And some of those people you just heard from told me they waited online for three hours amid all the craziness. It really shows just how important it is to have events like this for people in our community during the holiday season in Fordham Faith Graham News 12.
