New York City is home to people from all over the world.
This week, News 12’s Joanna Hernandez meets with a Bronx resident that goes by the name of Goldy.
Goldy is a handyman and construction worker from Jamaica who has found a passion for bedazzling and making things out of scraps.
"My birthday landed on Labor Day one year and I made a red suit for Labor Day and from that, I started to make a few and started to make stuff," Goldy says.
Goldy designs and creates clothes, shoes, crowns, speakers and different items inside his Bronx apartment.
"I don't sell any of my things, I just like to create things and add it to my collection in my room," he says. "It just makes me happy to look at these things I do and listen to my music."
