Monday was day four of Yankee Stadium acting as a vaccination hub for Bronx residents.
Appointments are completely booked for the COVID hub’s first week, which ends on Friday.
For the following two weeks, the stadium will be serving 500 patients a day. Appointments are already filled.
Bronx residents say the process is simple. “You get this card. Somebody fills it out for you and then the next stop you get the shot. After you get the shot, you go to another room, and you have to wait for 15 to 20 minutes to see if you get a reaction,” said resident Adamos Domingo.
He says the entire process took no more than 30 minutes and that it was with no line. Right now, there’s only one ticket window open.
