Bronx activists held a rally Thursday against the unfair treatment of residents in redeveloped areas.
The Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition joined the Kingsbridge Armory Redevelopment Alliance in front of a Bronx housing court to voice their concerns.
They say they welcome new development in the borough, but not at the expense of people already living there.
Some tenants claim landlords are raising rents, harassing low-income residents and ignoring important maintenance issues. They say they're hopeful the city will work with them to hold landlords accountable.
