Bronx shoppers crammed in some last-minute buys hours before Santa was due to visit their living rooms.
Street vendors lined Fordham Road Monday as shoppers roamed to find gifts. Vendor Alex Martinez says he makes most of his money when locals are under the wire.
Some residents say it?s beneficial to shop late. ?Personally, I've gotten better deals than in the beginning of December, so it works better for me,? Tina Cordero says.
Others, like Marcus Razo, say last-minute shopping is a hassle because of the busy stores and frantic shoppers. He says he will start earlier next year.
