A group of men playing softball in Soundview Park told News 12 they had conflicting views about playing in the extreme heat. One man said he thought the game should've been canceled due to dangerous conditions. However, several others say they were well prepared with water and ice packs.
Looking ahead to tonight, meteorologists say it will dip down to 78 degrees. They say it will still be very warm so it might be uncomfortable to sleep for those who do not keep air conditioning on overnight.
