Students at Truman High School are all fired up over the newest addition to the
school's art program.
Kilns are being used in Truman's art room for the first time in nearly a decade. Students have been experimenting with different kinds of ceramic projects like pots and even 3D recreations of spaces that make them feel safe.
Teachers are excited for students to get a chance to learn an art form they might not encounter elsewhere.
The two new kilns were purchased after the ones used almost 10 years ago were no longer functional.
