A Bronx veterans medical center teamed up with volunteers from JPMorgan Chase to help local veterans in need ahead of Veterans Day.
The center on West Kingsbridge Road donated more than 1,000 socks, toothbrushes and soap, while the volunteers collected the items to give them out.
“Since 2011, JPMorgan Chase has hired 80,000 veterans, their commitment to veterans has never been stronger,” said Chase commercial banker Luis Panichet.
“And this is just a way ahead of Veterans Day that we can show our support to the veterans for the sacrifices that they've made. Really happy and proud of the chase team. This is an entirely employee led donation drives."
