A Bronx woman who survived after being stabbed 17 times says her attacker is walking free.
Keanna Bryant, a fashion model and survivor, appeared at Bronx Criminal Court to face her former neighbor Manolo Talbert, the man accused of stabbing her.
Talbert is charged with attempted murder, assault and robbery. The Bronx District Attorney’s Office says prosecutors requested he be held without bail, but a judge granted supervised release over their objection.
Talbert is scheduled to return to court on Dec. 1. The case is being overseen by Judge Darlene Goldberg.
Bryant says she’s focused on healing but won’t rest until her attacker is fully held accountable.
