The NYC Free Tax Prep Program is available for New Yorkers who have an income limit, and BronxWorks is connecting residents who qualify.

BronxWorks, a community organization that aims to improve the economic and social well-being of Bronx residents, is helping to prepare taxes just in time for tax season.

New Yorkers qualify for free tax filing with NYC Free Tax Prep if their family earned $85,000 or less or if they're a single filer who earned $59,000 or less in 2023.

BronxWorks services over 6,000 people with free tax prep every tax season, offering services in English and Spanish.

The deadline to apply to file taxes is April 15. BronxWorks will continue to offer free tax prep services until April 17. To learn more about their services or to schedule an appointment at a participating location click here.
