A Black Lives Matter mural has been completed along Fulton Street in Bed-Stuy.
Twenty Brooklyn-based artists began painting Saturday and continued throughout the night.
It was organized by the Billie Holiday Theater and City Council member Robert Cornegy Jr.
Big yellow letters spelling out "Black Lives Matter" now span an entire block between Marcy and Brooklyn avenues.
The art was inspired by the piece that was first painted in Washington, D.C. on the street leading to the White House. Other murals have since popped up in Seattle and California.
A ceremony and kick-off event will be held today to celebrate the artwork and continue the calls for equality.
