A Brooklyn-based arts organization curated a performance series this weekend to honor women for Women's History Month.
Norte Maar in Boerum Hill celebrated the 11th anniversary of Counterpointe 11, an artistic collaboration between women.
For the past 20 years, Norte Maar has helped different artist collaborate.
Counterpointe 11 is the longest standing performance series that features seven choreographers and seven visual artists.
Together, these women used their gifts to curate new ways of making people see their own art.
The community will have another opportunity on Sunday to witness a live performance at the Mark O’Donnel Theater.
