George Gonzalez, 37, is a Brooklyn native who graduated from Canarsie High School. He was a Pentagon Force Protection Agency senior officer for three years and a proud Army veteran.
Gonzalez was stabbed and then shot with his own gun during an unprovoked attack at a Pentagon bus platform outside the Department of Defense headquarters in Washington on Aug. 3.
The funeral was held at Saint Barbara Church on Bleecker Street. Gonzalez was being laid to rest at Linden Hill Cemetery in Queens.
