Into news. 12 New York for your weather too because we're gonna have a lot of updates coming up over the next couple of days as we are on storm watch, heading towards the weekend, rain is gonna be an issue. Let's check in with storm watch teams. Hoo sei right now to find out how much of an issue it's gonna be. Yeah, Kurt, you know, we're dealing with the rain and we're also dealing with the high wind. So here's the top stories through the weekend. So we're dealing with a nice warm up. That's something that you can enjoy. In the meantime, Friday and Saturday, Gusty storms are to follow on our Sunday and then falling temperatures by Monday. So let's get into the next couple of days high as tomorrow near 48 degrees, 55 on, on Saturday and then 61 on Sunday. But look where those temperatures crash mid to upper forties on our Monday and even cooler by the midweek. But again, we're talking about the rain. That's why we are on storm watch. Again. We're tracking some steady rainfall arriving Sunday afternoon and even taking us into Monday morning. So let's time it out on your future Cast Sunday, it is gonna start off dry. Then we see those temperatures climbing into the upper fifties. Low sixties, some light rain start then a random and, and then it starts to pick up in intensity by the evening hours. So this is around midnight. You're seeing temperatures still near 60 degrees and you're seeing the darker shades of green and yellow, good indicated for some soaking rain And even the high winds will start picking up in intensity through this time frame. But look how quickly those temperatures crash from the sixties to the mid forties by Monday morning. Even though that the rain is pushing out of here, we're still gonna be dealing with some standing water and some gusty winds. So your Monday morning commute will still be impacted Monday afternoon. It is drier temperatures in the mid to upper forties, even cooler by Monday evening. But again, back to those high winds, 40 to 50 MPH really going to be any concern as well as the rain. We're talking about 1 to 2.5 inches of rainfall. It's all good and I don't mean Rainbow.

on august 6th Brooklyn boxer Amanda Serrano returns to the ring at Madison Square Garden. Her fight will be the co main event of the card. Along with jake paul taking the next step in his boxing career as he takes on Hasim Rahman Jr. Now, if you recognize that name, you should have seen his father of the same name is the former heavyweight champion of the world paul. The Youtuber turned boxer is five and o in his professional career, he tells News 12 that this will be by far his highest level of competition yet. This guy has had 100 amateur fights. He's 12 and one. He's the heavyweight, He has the reach, he has the way all of the things he has the height. So on paper, there's no reason I should win this fight other than my heart. The Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony is sunday in Cooperstown. Former red Sox star, David. Ortiz controversial induction will have some local new york flavor. Big papi will be looking good on stage. Thanks to Long Island stylist salvatore Paternot. He made Ortiz's suit for the ceremony and red and navy custom creation. The colors represent the red Sox and Ortiz's home in the Dominican republic. It's got red stitches like a baseball with Ortiz's name and number inside Paterno has been Ortiz's stylist and friend for about five years plus, he grew up a red Sox fan. So for him having a small role in sunday's ceremony is pretty cool for me, it represents, it's an honor for me to do something, not only for David, but for the Red Sox, that's it's been a special thing team in my life. Number one and number two, I take pride in what I do and I'm glad that he chose me to do his suit for this special event. This is a work of art.
