A group of teens were indicted for the Coney Island assault and murder of Nyheem Wright.
A 13-year-old boy is now charged with murder in the death of 17-year-old Wright, according to Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez.
In an indictment, Gonzalez also stated a 14-year-old and 16-year-old are facing manslaughter charges connected to the assault in Coney Island.
The district attorney says the 13-year-old is accused of the Jan. 20 stabbing of Wright near his school on Mermaid Avenue. According to investigators, that was after the two older suspects allegedly kicked and punched Wright in the head and body.
If convicted, the 13-year-old faces the possibility of life in prison while the other two teens could get up to 10 years.
