Commuters who pass through the Court Street subway station in Brooklyn are rejoicing over the new elevators that have been added. Â
The MTA also reopened the subway station’s entrance on Montague Street, which they say was closed for 13 months.Â
Additional work has been done to the station, including a power wash of the platforms, street stairs, and mezzanine areas. New lighting and a new paint job can be seen along the stairs as well. Â
Parents spoke with News 12, saying they greatly appreciate the elevator renovation and quality of life changes, particularly for their children.Â
