Commuters who pass through the Court Street subway station in Brooklyn are rejoicing over the new elevators that have been added.
The MTA also reopened the subway station’s entrance on Montague Street, which they say was closed for 13 months.
Additional work has been done to the station, including a power wash of the platforms, street stairs, and mezzanine areas. New lighting and a new paint job can be seen along the stairs as well.
Parents spoke with News 12, saying they greatly appreciate the elevator renovation and quality of life changes, particularly for their children.
