Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda has been released from prison.
Shmurda
was serving a seven-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to conspiracy
and weapons charges in 2016.
He was convicted
of trying to smuggle a knife-like object into his cell at Rikers Island.
According
to the publication “Revolt,” the rapper’s conditional release date was bumped
up because of “good behavior.”
Shmurda
was arrested in 2014 for alleged
gang involvement.
