Students at Fontbonne Hall Academy in Brooklyn are hosting a fundraiser in honor of fallen NYPD detectives Wilbert Mora and Jason Rivera. But one teacher at the school is now suffering the consequences after taking to Twitter to share her charged thoughts on the fundraiser.
The unidentified teacher has been suspended after she shared some controversial thoughts about the student's efforts saying:
“If anyone was wondering, I am intentionally dressing up today. #Abolition #BLM."
This faculty member has since turned her Twitter profile private and was suspended, according to the Diocese of Brooklyn. After the tweet surfaced, the school issued a statement saying:
Fontbonne Hall says it is conducting an internal investigation into the matter.
