Neighbors in Prospect Lefferts Gardens are organizing after a fire broke out on the top floor of a five-story apartment building back in December.
The road to recovery continues as many neighbors are working with the Flatbush Tenants Coalition aiming to put pressure on the landlord for apartments that were damaged to be fixed.
Additionally, there are dozens of repairs that tenants say have been overlooked. With their frustrations mounting over the past month, tenants tell News 12 there has been no transparency from management and the building is in dire need of repairs.
This building is owned by Brian Ritter, the second worst landlord on Public Advocate Jumanee Williams' list.
News 12 reached out to the management company for a statement and is waiting to hear back.
