Police say a woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly stabbing a Bronx man to death in Brownsville.

Aiesha Walker, 48, is accused of attacking Kenneth Brewer, 47, on Wednesday evening inside 181 Rockaway Pkwy., where authorities say Walker lives. Police initially said they were also looking for a man responsible for the killing.

Authorities took Walker into custody just after 5 p.m. Thursday. She faces manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon charges, according to police.

Officers discovered Brewer just before 8 p.m. with a stab wound to his chest. EMS rushed the 47-year-old to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

News 12 spoke to Brewer's girlfriend, Caprice Sanders. She said Brewer had been living with her after moving to the Bronx from Milwaukee five years ago. Sanders said she saw Brewer last on Monday.

"He didn’t deserve that at all,” Sanders said. “He didn’t deserve to get stabbed and killed.”

His family back home told News 12 that Brewer was a hardworking father and worked as an assistant superintendent and security guard.
