A Brooklyn woman is facing murder charges in the death of her own father who police say was stabbed multiple times Thursday morning.
Police originally believed the stabbing started as a home invasion robbery, but now 22-year-old Nikki Secondino is charged with her father's murder as well as attempted murder for allegedly stabbing her 19-year-old sister too.
Police arrived at 8208 17th Ave. just before 6 a.m. Thursday morning after a 911 call came in claiming two men with ski masks attempted a home invasion. But once inside, they say there was no sign of forced entry.
Investigators did find 61-year-old Carlo Secondino dead and his two daughters with stab wounds. Police say Nikki's 19-year-old sister was stabbed multiple times across her body and she's now in the hospital fighting for her life.
Nikki was hospitalized to be treated for the stab wounds on her hands.
