A Brooklyn woman, also known as the Ice Cream Girl, compiled a video of residents signing "We Are The World" in hopes to spread joy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Maria Campanella has been driving her father's ice cream truck for years. One of her friends, singer and actress Frances Mignano, says the virus hit closer to home than she ever imagined when her beloved uncle died on April 3.

Mignano says the lyrics spoke to her, and that with everything going on, joy and gratitude can go a long way.

Campanella says she has also dropped off a box of ice cream to a local precinct last week and she plans to do that to other precincts around the borough.
