Police are searching for a man who was caught on camera during a brutal elevator assault in The Bronx.
According to the 68-year-old victim, he was returning to his Aldus Street apartment and held the front door open for his attacker to be polite. The suspect followed him into the elevator and then punched and kicked him repeatedly before stealing the chain around his neck.
The suspect is described as being Hispanic, in his 20s and about 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a thin build and short black hair. Anyone who recognizes him should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
