Police say shots were fired outside of a Claremont Deli along East 168th Street and Webster Avenue.
At least three shell casings were found at the scene in front of Munchies Mini Market and Deli at 12:30 p.m. Monday.
No one was injured, according to police.
At least one bullet struck the tire of a car that had city vehicle license plates as it made a turn onto East 168th Street during the shooting.
Police are searching for a person of interest who ran from the scene dressed in black pants and a white tank top.
