"We really want to highlight today is that there are 75 BIDs all throughout New York City. They cover 300 miles of commercial corridor and they've infused $194 million every year into the economy. And so, we want to really highlight that. We want people to be proud of that,” said Kevin Kim, commissioner of the NYC Small Business Services.
Mayor Eric Adams announced nearly $7 million in investments into small businesses that he says will drive tourism and strengthen many commercial corridors citywide.
The New York City Small Business Expo, which will take place on May 29, will bring together hundreds of these businesses.
