Pelham Bay business owners are speaking out against a local man because they feel his pigeon feeding is disturbing the neighborhood.Owners of the ABC Center in Pelham Bay say that every day the man causes pigeons to swarm their neighborhood, creating a mess of bird droppings."He causes a mess throughout the whole neighborhood," says local business owner Chris Keraizis. Some shop owners say that they've had to replace their store awnings because of the pigeons, including one business owner who has spent more than $2,000 replacing the filthy awnings. Now, these business owners want something to be done. The ASPCA says that while bird feeding is not illegal, people can expect to receive a $150 fine if it causes a nuisance in the community.
