A butcher shop in Williamsburg is helping out small businesses in Brooklyn by stocking their products.
The Meat Hook's owner, Ben Turley, says many food producers have had to close their storefronts, and that fortunately the butcher shop is still open.
The shop is selling produce from local farms and products like Three's Brewing beer.
Turley says he also wanted to do something for the community that has supported the store for 10 years - so it's giving out some of its stock and broth for free.
He says he's grateful to the community that has kept the store in business for so long. Turley says in order to get through the pandemic, it'll be important for neighbors to support small businesses.
