Four men accused of plotting to bomb Bronx synagogues and shoot down military airplanes are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday. Prosecutors Tuesday brought new charges against the suspects, with the eight-count indictment being returned in federal court in White Plains.The men were originally charged with conspiracy to use weaponsof mass destruction and conspiracy to acquire and use anti-aircraftmissiles. The indictment adds three counts of attempting to use weapons ofmass destruction and a count alleging an attempt to acquire and useanti-aircraft missiles. It also adds a charge of conspiracy to killU.S. officers and employees and a charge of attempting to kill U.S.officers and employees.The charges carry a potential of life in prison.AP wire services contributed to this report.
