A Bronx woman who graduated from college in April has sued her alma mater, claiming she can't find a job.
Trina Thompson, 27, filed a lawsuit against Monroe College seeking the $70,000 she paid for tuition while earning her bachelor's degree in information technology. Thompson says the school's Office of Career Advancement has not given her the help it promises in finding her a job.
Current students at Monroe say Thompson is out of line to file the lawsuit. Some claim the job center has aided them. A college spokesman says the center will continue to help Thompson despite the lawsuit.
