Camp Junior returns after pandemic halt; staff hopes to return to ‘normal’ by next summer

After over a year of uncertainty because of the coronavirus, the camp named after Lesandro “Junior” Guzman Feliz is back. 
The camp was named after the Bronx teen who was brutally killed by gang members in 2018. 
Parents who stay with their children at the camp say this year feels extra special, after spending over a year inside due to the coronavirus pandemic. 
The camp was cut down from two weeks to three days because of COVID-19. 
Camp staffers say they hope to be fully back to normal next summer.
