5h agoThe Canarsie community is mourning the loss of 17-year-old Jaden Brown, who was gunned down last week.
Brown was shot and killed outside the Bay View Houses just after midnight last Friday.
The community rallied Monday just steps away from where the shooting happened to call for an end to the violence that has rocked the city in the past few months.
Members of the 69th Precinct Clergy Council occupied the corner of Seaview Avenue and Rockaway Parkway in his honor.
Police say they’re still investigating the incident and have not made any arrests yet.
