A 97-year-old man is dead after he was struck and killed by an SUV in Brighton Beach Wednesday.
Officials say it happened around 3:45 p.m. in front of 405 Brighton Beach Ave.
Police say the man was hit by a car and was rushed to the hospital.
The driver remained at the scene, according to police.
There is no word on whether the driver suffered any injuries or how they lost control at this time.
