Cardi B was back in court Tuesday in connection to a fight that happened at a Queens strip club last year.
Just about 24 hours before getting back from performing in Africa, Cardi B appeared in Queens Criminal Court. She faces felony attempted assault charges, and multiple misdemeanor charges after a fight at a strip club last year.
When asked how Cardi B was feeling walking into the courtroom, she responded "good."
The 27-year-old Grammy winner is accused of organizing an attack on two bartenders at a Queens strip club last year. However, her attorneys say Tuesday's hearing was a control day in court. This means the judge wanted Cardi B and the two other defendants accused in the case to come together.
Cardi B's attorney says they submitted a subpoena to Facebook and Instagram to see conversations with the alleged victims, but that it was denied.
"Things like this are very very important to properly defend a case in the interim remember, Cardi is doing tremendous things right now," said Attorney Drew Findling.
The judge adjourned this case to Jan. 17. Cardi B will not be there because she has been excused.
However, the other defendants, in this case are set to appear.
