Carnegie Hall’s new online series aims to connect artists with audiences everywhere.
“Live with Carnegie Hall” is set to launch on Tuesday, April 14 at 3 p.m. with an episode that features live performances, storytelling and a conversation with Broadway and TV star Tituss Burgess.
Burgess will interview a few artists including Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, Metropolitan Opera singer Angel Blue and Emmy Award-winning journalist Frank DiLella.
The online program has been specially created by Carnegie Hall in response to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns across the world.
In addition to the live performance, Carnegie Hall will also offer free music education resources created by Carnegie Hall’s Well Music Institute.
The series will be streamed on Carnegie Hall’s Facebook live and Instagram live.
Archived programs will be made available at Carnegie Hall’s website.
