Neighbors in Castle Hill say they've been trying to get the city to fix a broken catch basin for nearly a month and a half to no avail.
They say when it rains and snows, the area along the northbound Cross Bronx service road and Gleason Avenue turns into a swamp.
Community activist Sydney Flores says he put up caution tape around the area back in February, when the catch basin broke.
He says the water hasn't been draining properly, and the city has been notified many times.
Flores was told by the city recently that the issue will be fixed in six days.
